The skills acquired in the automotive industry acclaimed in aeronautics
For over two years, Team Auto Consulting SAS has created an Aerospace Department. The
development strategy rests on three pillars: SPACE obtain a license, go to the panel of
DOA (principal Aerospace), accompany the POA (SMEs) throughout the value chain.
SPACE is a program approved by the Ministry of Industry, which aims to advance the aerospace supply chain and reduce non-quality. Indeed, the level of European service is now located between 83% and J-2 J 7.
Two objectives: to advance 100 SMEs and 95% to 1000 PPM.
What were the stages of the project?
First, the Board of Directors of SPACE, which consists of CEOs of DOA, has developed a deployment strategy (France, Germany, Great Britain), the program objectives and modalities of implementation.
This is to create clusters consisting of a DOA and POA from June to August. This is the DOA that selects suppliers that wish to change. SPACE is responsible for the creation of clusters and their operational monitoring. They rely on aviation hubs, on regions and chambers of commerce for financial and administrative aspects.
Auto Consulting Team has obtained the authorization for 3 SPACE Consultants for expertise include: general diagnosis, diagnostic industry, logistics organization, quality management, lean GST planning (MRPII), project management, change management and practical language. In addition, everyone should have a success story made in the aviation sector.
As you can see, all these are perfectly mastered skills in the automotive sector and DOA want to apply in their area because the fleet will double in the next 10 years. So we'll have to bring the new requirements of DOA and industrial know-how of POA due to economic issues.
In addition, there are several examples of recent comparisons between the automotive and aeronautical sectors: the interchange format of computer files is now unique STEPAP242, and joint work on long-term archiving are underway with Galia.
