Graduate from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille (ENSCL) and with a MBA from PARIS IAE , Christian LEFEBVRE VARY has a forty years experience in the Automotive Industry. Starting as R&D manager for the automotive supplier JAEGER he was then Chemistry and Metallurgy Department Manager, Purchasing Director, International Sales Director and France Representative Office Director (REINSHAGEN).
General Manager for a US Company UNITED TECHNOLOGIES AUTOMOTIVE (UTA) in charge of the french cars manufactures on a worldwide basis and then General Manager for a Japanese company (YAZAKI). All these responsabilities enabled him to have an outstanding knowledge of components supplied by automotive suppliers to car manufacturers: wire-harnesses, terminals and connectors , clusters , column switches , seats and all the processes for their manufacturing: molding, stamping , surface treatment ,electronic components settings and wire-harnesses manufacturing.
As responsible on a worldwide basis for the automotive car manufacturers, he had the opportunity to work with several countries such as : Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Romania, China, Iran, Turkey, Germany, Japan, The Philippines .
For UTA , he managed the take-over of a company belonging to Renault , partially a PSA plant, as well as the set-up of a plant near Rennes, France.
The implementation of wire-harnesses plants in Tunisia and Morocco belonged to his responsibilities and he also achieved a comparative survey in both countries to decide the best strategy (Algeria belonged also to this survey). He was also responsible of manufacturing agreements with Romania and partnership with Iran.
Under his last responsibility, as YAZAKI General Manager, the turnover increased from 25M€ to 250M€ within 8 years with significative activities in new products (column switch and clusters ) in relationship with China.
His knowledge of the automotive market , products , people , organisation , led him to become an expert for any implementation, partnership into the french market and for any international development.
In order to share his competences, he created G2S CONSULTING SARL in 2009 and joined TEAM AUTO CONSULTING in 2010 as Partner.
