Philippe GIRAULT is a French consultant with a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is supporting the activity of the automotive suppliers in their relations with OEMs and major Tier Ones in an international context. Philippe has gradually acquired experience over 20 years in sales & engineering positions with European and US automotive suppliers in OE (Original Equipment) and OES (OE Sales). After a first position at Renault engineering, he switches to positions of KAM (Key Account Manager) and Commercial Director among suppliers, developing international sales of Dana Corp. (engine components), Valeo (Wiping Systems), DURA Automotive Systems (division Body & Glass Systems) for customers BMW, Ford, PSA (Peugeot, Citroën) et RSA (Renault, Nissan).
Additional to the core expertise centralized on OE sales development and project management, experience has also been collected in international coordination for sales, technical issues, project quality systems (AQ3P, ANPQP), product process qualifications, logistics, cost estimation. European engineering centres and production facilities are located in France, Germany, LCC (Leading Cost Countries : Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland), UK. The follow up of production life is also included : quality indicators, productivity linked to redesign and/or process improvement.
During a sales & technical support period, German suppliers (Gedia, Kendrion RSL, Storz) are represented in their starting business relations on the French market.
