Catherine MARZIN passed a Master in International Trade and had a continuous training in quality (EAQF 1994, QS9000, ISO9001 and TS16949). She has been working for 20 years in the automotive sector : during 3 years with spares dealer networks (Norauto, Feu Vert, L’Auto Distribution) and during 10 years for an automotive supplier of Renault, Peugeot, the 4 Subsidiaries of Volkswagen Group in France, the French subsidiaries of Opel, Ford and Fiat, and the European headquarters of Ford.
In 2004, she started Solexter company dedicated to spare parts suppliers and other industrial SMEs, working in 3 areas : commercial development, logistics organization and quality assistance. In 2009, Catherine MARZIN took an active part in the creation of Team Auto Consulting as a partner.
Her know-how is based on two main skills :
1/ commercial
- negotiating annual orders and promotions with the national purchasers of spares dealer networks in France and in Spain
- deploying commercial strategy to drive a supplier of plastic accessories to become a tier supplier of Renault and Peugeot. Member of project teams involved in developing only tailored plastic parts for passenger cars, vans, and LCV.
2/ logistics flows
- direct deliveries to car dealer networks of Renault, Peugeot, Ford, Fiat in France.
- deliveries of accessories to Renault and Peugeot warehouses.
- monitoring fleet orders to deliver the products to logistics centers such as CAT, STVA, Opel in France and Belgium.
- starting the deliveries to several automotive plants as Renault Maubeuge, Douai, Palencia, Valladolid and Peugeot Ryton and Poissy, by managing orders, forecasts, containers, insurance, EDI, ETI9 labels, alternative logistics, transportation.
- for a distributor in the electronics sector, improving service rate of 20 international suppliers, representing 80% of the turnover by driving the first 10 of them between 90% and 100% (deliveries in quantity and due dates).
Key competence : monitoring IT projects either change or customization (ERP, PMS, EDI, RFID, internet portal) with 2 principles : respecting the quality certification and optimizing ongoing processes.
In order to provide a high quality work, she is constantly doing benchmarking in logistics, packing, IT and RFID.
