Brigitte DEPARTE is a French consultant with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. She provides advice to industrial companies in regards to strategic and operational purchasing management.
Her know-how comes from her 25 years experience working for automotive and industrial manufacturers, reinforced with a consultant training in 2008. After a first position as an engineer, Brigitte DEPARTE moved towards the purchasing function where she spent most of her career. Along her career path, from Renault Trucks to PSA Peugeot Citroën, she acquired a solid experience on procurement practices and organizations in complex, competitive and international environments.
As a purchasing director she managed several procurement improvement programs both for production parts as well as non production and services. Within the production parts department, she led programs such as productivity, worldwide supply, quality and risk management . Within the non production and services department, she was in charge of specific subjects such as the media space, energy, e-business tools, software packages, facility management and consulting.Responsible for the reorganization of PSA Peugeot-Citroën Purchasing Department from 1998 to 2000, and the progress plan of the Platforms, Technology and Purchasing Direction in 2005, she acquires and develops her cross management practice.
In 2008 she founded BDAchatConseil to help corporations improve their performance by leveraging their strategic purchasing potential. One year later she became associate of Team Auto Consulting.
